🌍 About Me: From Abu Dhabi and Beyond – My Journey

Hi, I’m Dina! Originally from Palestine, I was born and raised in the vibrant city of Abu Dhabi. At 12, I embarked on my first solo journey, flying from the US back to Abu Dhabi after spending the summer in Minnesota. Leaving my mom behind, I spent a year living with my dad and three older sisters. That experience instilled in me a deep sense of independence and confidence, shaping my passion for exploration.

At 13, I moved to Minnesota, USA, (not by choice) where I navigated the challenges of adapting to a new culture and environment. Now, I’ve found myself in the heart of Spain, spending 10 months in Madrid as an English teaching assistant which is 100% my choice.

Alongside teaching, I’m pursuing my MBA, seizing every opportunity to explore new places, savor diverse cuisines, and live life with intention. This blog is my canvas to share experiences in food, fashion, travel, and those beautiful in-between moments that make life extraordinary.

My passion for travel ignited at 12 when I boarded a flight alone from the US to Abu Dhabi. That solo journey instilled a confidence in me that has fueled countless adventures since.

From bustling markets in Madrid to hidden eateries in Minnesota, I relish discovering culinary delights and fashion trends that tell a story. My early experiences in our family restaurant laid the foundation for this passion, teaching me the importance of flavors, presentation, and the stories behind each dish.
