Crispy Hash Brown Brunch Toasts: Two Ways 🥑🍳

This one’s for the savory breakfast lovers who want something fun, easy, and just a little extra. On busy mornings (or slow ones when I don’t want to wash too many dishes), I love using frozen hash browns as my base and yes, these golden beauties are straight from Aldi (but Trader Joe’s has the same ones if that’s your spot).

This plate features two versions of my go-to brunch bite! One creamy and clean, the other protein packed and satisfying. Both take under 15 minutes and feel like a cafe style plate but from your own kitchen.

🥔 What You’ll Need:

Base (for both)

  • 2 frozen hash brown patties (I use Aldi or Trader Joe’s brand)
  • Air fryer (or oven)

Topping Option 1: The Classic Avocado

  • 1/2 ripe avocado, sliced
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Topping Option 2: The Protein Stack

  • A handful of fresh spinach
  • Sliced deli turkey
  • 1-2 eggs, scambled

👩🏻‍🍳 How to Make It:

  1. Air fry the hash browns at 400F (200C) for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and crispy.
  2. For the Avocado Toast, top one hash brown with avocado slices and a sprinkle of sale and pepper.
  3. For the Protein Toast, layer the second hash brown with spinach, turkey slices, and scrambled eggs. Season to taste.
  4. Optional: add a little hot sauce or chili flakes if you like a kick.

💡 Dee’s Tip:

Air frying makes them perfectly crispy every time! No flipping or babysitting required. Want a little extra flavor? Rub the hash browns with a tiny bit of garlic powder or paprika before air frying for a subtle kick.

Love, Dee
